Whatever I seem to do I can't seem to find Image 2 inside Image 1 irrespective of percentage. This is in Automation Anywhere 4.0 evalution. Anybody had any ideas? Last edited by rodske; 10-03-2007 at 07:03 PM. |

Hello, Its strange, For me it works, what i did was, Image1 was a screenshot of a window and Image 2 was a .bmp file. Can u tell me what you are doing for eg. is both your image that is Image1 and Image2 are .bmp files or one of your file is a screenshot of a particular window. I can help you more if you could send me screenshots of your image. Thanks TheBrain |

There is probably some secret to getting Image Recognition to work consistently, but I haven't figured it out yet. I am looking for a button within a page. I have tried image1 as the whole part, and just the area around where my second image is going to be. Image2 is just most of the button. Can anybody give some pointers? I was able to get it to work on my one XP computer, but now I've created an exe and put it on another computer and it just doesn't want to work. I have even put my Minimum % down to 5%, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Alan |

Hello, What we suggest is, take screenshot of entire window as Image1 and try again. The size of Image1 (Source Image) should be larger than Image2. We have attached sample task file ( IFIMAG.atmn) for your reference. Copy this task under My Documents\Automation Anywhere\Automation Anywhere\My Tasks. This task will compare image captured from www.tethyssolutions.com website in Untitle.bmp. If captured image is found in Untitle.bmp it will give you a message saying, ‘True’. We have also attached Untitle.bmp file copy it under C:\. Before running this task keep first (default) page of Tethys website open (www.tethyssolutions.com). Hope that helps. |
