Read prompt value into a variable

Is possible to read a value into a variable from a prompt and use that variable in many places? eg. Prompt once for a date, store that value and then use it in many places in the macro. This would be in Automation Anywhere..

It is certainly possible with Automation Anywhere.

• Define a value type variable using Tools->Variable Manager.
• Assign any value to it.
• Now in the Tools->Task Editor, Insert a Prompt command.
• Select 'Don't Write In Any Window'
• And Assign the values to the variable you defined.
• Now you can use this variable every where else in the command.
