Default is there a difference between inbuilt commands and windows keystrokes or mouse clicks

today, after my adventure with the mal-functioning MAXIMIZE window command

i began to wonder is there a difference?

is SAVE SPREADSHEET different than CTL down S ctl up?

is CLOSE WINDOW different than ALT DOWN F4 ALT UP?

and so on?

is there any advantage to using the built in commands over the hot key or mouse click equivalents?

Hello,

Save Spreadsheet command is same as Ctrl+s but it is for saving Excel file only.

Close Window command is same as Alt+F4 but here you can provide the window title (with or without wild card) also you can close all currently open windows.
