Getting the Window Issue Selection to Work

That is great that you put it out there. This one thing alone is keeping me from using the software.

I do support and have 2 monitors side by side. The main window of the software has a unique name so it's a no brainer to find, select and maximize.
The I fill the inbox using HOT KEY stroke commands. Sort By ascending as to answer the oldest email first or customer that has been waiting the longest.

Where I get tripped up is when I go to open one of the incidents in it's own Window. First I have to figure out how to ensure that it always open on the right side of the window. This incident window can open anywhere with in the 2 monitors. I usually have to drag the window off to the right side monitor then double click on it.

The main issue (another one) is These 2 incidents when opened up both have the same info in the header except for the date (100707-000123) so the first 6 digits are the date which can change daily and the last 6 are the actual incident number which changes each incident.

100707-000123 - name - RightNow CRM

(this is the header on any of the windows that I need to work with for now two at a time) The the numbers change each incident the other data "name" and "RightNow CRM" are inherent and do not change. Where does the * wild card go in this instance?

My Main Window though has "My Inbox (A3) - name - RightNow CRM" so I can always reference this MAIN window where I get my incidents from because of the data here has a unique identifier and does not change.

I repeat this process for the left side.

Any suggestions on how to do this currently would be greatly appreciated. When I run things that I create, the program window for AA always seems to get in the way especially causes problems when "Active Window" is used.


Benefits:
I believe for even beginner users with the SPYXX utility could really find the
value endless when precise window information or field values need to be retrieved.

Advance Users and Seasoned scripters will find this a tool to cut their hand coding time down.

Hello,

Regarding your issues,

1) To ensure that window always open on the right side use, Window Actions:Resize Window command.
2) Here we can use wild card in the beginning of window title but it can point to main window as well so we suggest using currently active window title. The requirement to have a variable support in window title has already been forwarded to the development team for future release.

Thank you for your response. I was gone for awhile so I was not able to check till now. The acknowledgement of this is wonderful and hope this be of "Value Added" significance.
