Please help me with identifying a user id box?

I'm trying to test a staging web-site for the company I work for. When I'm using the web recorder I can't get Automation Anywhere to recognize the userid text box, or the password text box, so basically those steps are omitted from my task, after I stop the recording and view it. I've tried to manually insert keystrokes in order to enter the information, but I haven't been able to get the tool to specify where the entry should happen. After the task runs with the manual keystroke entry of the userid and password, the task says it completed, however there's no evidence of the entry into these fields. Can someone please help me? I would like to figure out a way to force entry into these fields.

If you are using Premier version or above then please try using Manage Windows Control (MWC) command to capture Userid and Password field.
