Hello, I'm pretty new to AA and I'm having a little trouble passing variables. I have a task that requires me to input a date in the mm/dd/yy (DateVar) format and then to save an output file I have to convert the naming convention to mm.dd.yy (DateSave) as windows does not allow / in filenames. I have about 3 months worth of dates to cycle through for each variable. I have a list loop set up reading from the text file where both variable lists are stored. DateVar increments correctly but DateSave will not. What am I doing wrong? |

Hello, Is it possible for you to upload the task that you have created so we can look into it and provide the viable solution? You can locate your task by selecting your task from Task List, right clicking that particular task and selecting 'Locate on disk' from context menu. Otherwise, you can also send text format of task. For that, open your task in a Task Editor, go to Tools->Save as text file and send this text file. It would help us investigate further. |
