Hi Anybody help me how to insert keystrokes and mouse clicks to window whose window title can be specified on the fly. for example i have a set invoices(all txt files and having same format) in a particular folder. I want to copy a specific text from each of these files and save it in another file( this file will reside outside the folder containig those invoices). So what i did is i recorded the process. And when opened that tasklist i want to specify a variable instead of the actual window title that was added at the time of recording the process. Any body please help me in this. Thanks in advance Rahesh |

Hello, The mentioned scenario can certainly be handled by Automation Anywhere. To make the task generic, use wildcard (*). You can use a wildcard at the beginning, end or both sides of the window titles. For e.g. you can write 'Microsoft Excel*' or '*Excel' etc. instead of providing the complete title if your title always keeps on changing. Hope that helps. |
