Default Windows 7 and AA 5.5.2

I have recently upgraded both my operating system and AA.

I was running AA 5.5 under Windows XP Professional and I am now running AA 5.5.2 Premier under Windows 7 Professional.

"Start" now appears as an Open Windows and when I use "Windows Actions" to "Close All Open Windows", AA attempts to shut down Windows 7.

Is there any way around this?

Hello,

This is very strange as we have never heard or seen such type of behaviour before. However, let us investigate.

Can you please provide more information on your machine configuration so we can try reproducing the scenario at our end and suggest viable solution?

The machine has a standard Windows 7 Professional 32-bit operating system installation.

Besides AA 5.5.2 Premier, the only applications installed are (1) Internet Explorer 8, (2) Microsoft Office 2003 Professional Edition (I hate the 2007 edition), (3) Paragon Partition Manager 10.0 Server edition, (4) PDF995 (free edition) (5) Adobe Reader 9 and (6) Eset Smart Security 4.2.35.0.

Under XP, the Close Window: "Close All Open Windows" task command in AA simply closed all open windows; it didn't try to shut down Windows itself!
