so, Are you saying that the recorded delays are ALWAYS exposed as a separate command and not HIDDEN within the recorded web control action?
How LOW is it safe to reduce them to?
Is 50 ms or 100ms or 200 ms "safe?"

regarding recapture:
my intent was to put a STOP command right before the command that I wanted to recapture,
then play the task up to the stop (which will position the task to the correct window location)
and THEN
recapture.
Would that work?

Thanks
Phil

Hello,

Yes, you can actually see the recorded delays in Task Editor, right before the command if 'Record Mouse Moves' checkbox under Tools->Options->Advanced Settings is enabled. If you are recording with Web Recorder then you cannot see the recorded delays they are built-in. Delay almost totally depends on your processor speed and the Internet speed (if it is a web task). If both are good then delay is not even required.

Regarding recapture, yes you can insert Stop Task command to play half of the task and open the window, then double click the command in question, recapture it, save the command and save the task. Before running the amended task, remove or disable 'Stop Task' command.

Hope that helps.
