Default Insert mouse click coordinates

Based on my experiences yesterday with NEGATIVE coordinates,

I Upgraded to 5.5.2.

I reduced the complexity of my machine by reducing to only one monitor set at LANDSCAPE 1024x768.

But,
Weird coordinates continue when capturing mouse clicks.

In the attached ATMN, there are 3 lines:
1 Mouse Click: Left Button (973,199) in "CLEAR - *"
2 Mouse Click: Left Button (103,173) in "CLEAR - *"
3 Delay: (50 ms)

The mouse clicks are BOTH **supposed** to be relative to the WINDOW not the SCREEN.

The mouse clicks are clicking the same control.

The "CLEAR -*" window was the EXACT SAME SIZE during BOTH captures.

All I did was move the "CLEAR -*" window from one side of the screen to the other.

WHY would the coordinates (which are relative to WINDOW) change???

Hello,

The X,Y coordinates change at run time. At run time when the task encounters ‘Relative to window option it converts screen coordinates to window coordinates.

Hope that helps.

My understanding was that the window would not be re-positioned
with a wildcard window like "CLEAR -*"

So does your answer mean that as long as
"RELATIVE TO WINDOW" is clicked,
the coordinates that we see in the text and in the ATMN are "meaningless?"

Hello,

It is expected because wild card is used for finding window name only, the base application will be same so the repositioning of widnow while playing is the correct behavior.

so, again,
does that mean that the coordinates we see in the editor are not the ones used to when the click is done?
