I have 2 machines that have different levels of various software (such as IE 6 and IE 7). I want to install AA on BOTH of them, but, AA wants to save My Tasks in the same folder on my H drive. Is there any problem with that? I realize that the ATMNs may not work because the different other software, but, I'd like to at least store them in the same My Tasks folder. Thanks! Phil |

Hello, Using Tools->Option-> Advanced Settings->Application Path you can choose a different application path. All of your tasks will then be saved in the specified path using Windows Login. The new path will take effect when you restart Automation Anywhere. Meanwhile, the scheduled tasks will work as-is. The triggered tasks will start working only after Automation Anywhere starts with the new path. Hope that Helps. |

Thanks! One further question. Is AA licensed to the machine or to the person? That is, can I, the licensed user, use my AA enterprise on two different machines as long as I am the user? Or, do I need a second license for the second machine? Obviously, I would prefer to use my Enterprise license on both machines, but, If necessary, I could use an unused Premier license on the second machine. Thanks much! Phil |

Hello, Its licensed to machine. At a time, you can use one license on one machine only. You can transfer the license but cannot use the same license on two machines. You can use Premier license on second machine. Hope that helps. |
