Default Is there any way to SORT the variables in Variable operations

I've noticed some big improvements in 5.5 regarding varibles being sorted by name.

but,
the windows in VARIABLE OPERATION are still unsorted?

Is there a mitigation?
or
a maintenance release with those variables sorted?

It seems really odd that AA sorts variables in different screens by different criteria. In some its alphabetical, others alphabetical reversed and still in others by date created.

The standard should be alphabetical - period.

well, that would be an improvement.

Some systems allow one to click on the column header to sort or reverse the sort.

Consistency could be our friend here.

Agreed, it just seems rather amateurish the way it is now.

Hello,

Currently, in Variable Manager Window the variables are sorted alphabetically and in all other variable window that appears after pressing F2 list variables in reverse alphabetical order.

We have already forwarded this requirement to the product development team for the future version of product.

There are also several variable windows where it sorted by reverse recently added. One example is 'get value of cells' in an Excel command and assign to variable.
