Default aa server status

hello,

why does the status go off after 2 mins being on?

i also registered the client from one machien but in the server management console it's showing up as no to register.

it's having issues communicating with the server, unable to connect to port 8050. this error comes up even when the server status is green/on.

any suggestions?

side question, how do we re-register the client if we want to move the license to another computer?

thanks,

Hello,

May we please know if the server and client are on the same machine or on different machines?

If they are on same machine then possibly, the server port is used by some other service and in that case you need to change the server port by editing Server Settings in Server Management Console and in client as well (under Tools->Options->Server Settings). You need to restart the server and client after you change the server port.

If server and client are on different machine then you need to provide the IP address of server in clients Server Settings.

To re-register the client, you need to un-install Automation Anywhere client, then remove the client from Client Manager in Server Management Console, install Automation Anywhere Client on different machine and register the same client.

Hope that helps.
