Installation Issues

Hi,

We downloaded the Server trial software, as instructed by the sales group, and have found a number of issues.

1. Installation process attempted to replace newer PSAPI.DLL, GDIPLUS.DLL, MSVCRT.DLL with older versions then what are currently installed on the test machine. The test machine is running Windows XP Pro Performance Edition SP3

2. Attached are some of the print screen images of the errors we have received during the installation and then after the machine was restarted and we attempted to start the software.

3. No service was added to the list of installed services

4. No Program Group was added to the Start menu

And recommendations on how we can correct these issues.

Also the plan is to installed the software on a Windows 2003 Server SMB machine, is this platform supported.

If you answer Yes to replacing the notes 3 DLL files then you will not have any issues, so people it is your choice.
