Playback is very slow

I had AA 6 client installed on my system that I used in conjunction with AA server for various dev tasks. One script that I have is a simple keystroke script in notepad.exe. When I ran the task from aa 6 the playback was almost blindingly fast. Well, I had to change machines and the new machine ended up with aa6.6 on it. The playback is now slower than I can type, even after setting the playback speed to "Turbo-action replay"

Any ideas?
