Default Moving AA Server

We have the AA Server and one client running on a PC.

We want to move the AA server to a server by itself, but don't want to loose the current run time clients.

Say all the clients now point to IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.152 and the new server is IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.123

Is there a way to move the server and change where the clients point without uninstalling the clients?

Hello,

What you can do is,

1) Uninstall only Automation Anywhere Server from current machine. Select 'Add/remove component' option from Start->Automation Anywhere Server->Un-install Automation Anywhere Server. Then uncheck 'Client' checkbox and follow the wizard.

2) Install Server on another machine.

2) On every client, you need to change the IP address of server from Tools->Options->Server Settings.

Hope this helps.
