Default Web Recorder

Hello,

Has the Web Recorder: Extracting Table Function process changed on 5.5. When I select a table to Extract, it highlights the Table and nothing happens. I have to hit the ESC, button to get it to go back to AA.

Is there something Im doing wrong.

Thanks for your help,
Chris.

Hello Chris,

This is very strange as we have never heard or seen such type of behaviour before. However, let us investigate.

Can you please send us URL of website and mention the table you want to extract so that we can try reproducing the scenario at our end and suggest a viable solution?

Hello Chris,

We are able to capture the table from mentioned website. Attached is the task we recorded. After the table is highlighted, click inside the table to extract that table.

Hope that helps.

Default Same Problem

I have the same problem. I can capture a table when I use version 5.0 but not in the 5.5 version. I'm using Vista and the new Windows Explorer version 8.0. I'll return back to Windows Explorer 7.0 to see if it's a browser issue. I'll report back shortly on my testing.

Default 90% positive it's an issue with Vista

Hello,

I reloaded Internet Explorer 8.0 on my computer and still had the problem with extract table. Last Night I loaded AA 5.5 on another computer with XP and the new Internet Explorer 8.0. The extract table feature works fine. Could it be possibly a setting? I think it's a Vista compatibility issue.....

Hey Chris.... Since you started this thread let me ask: Have you been able to fix this problem on your computer and how.?
