This is very strange, as we have never heard about such problem in XP. However, let us investigate. Could you please send us screenshot of that second window so that we can actually see? Also, please send us URL of website and exact steps that you perform so that we can try to reproduce it at our end.
In that way we would be able to understand the problem better and can help you with a viable solution.
