Task created in version 5.0 works well in version 5.5 also it works well with all Operating System of windows family. In addition, if the name or index or caption of web control is same i.e. if the layout of webpage is same then change in value of that web control i.e. IP (in your case) will not affect the task execution. Web Recorder can take of this change.
