Default Thanks

I'll give both a try.

I have used AA to upload my bank statement entries for VAT purposes to my accountants web site. I hate re-keying in the printed data. In the old days the accountant used excel and it took me 1 hr to complete - now web-based it takes more than 4 to 6 hours. But now with AA I am getting back towards 1 hr - and I don't miss a line item after running off for a coffee or answering the phone.

Some problems I had were:
I couldn't automatically identify which items are VAT-able - so I had to edit my accountants web site entries afterwards. I suppose I could build another excel file against which I could find matching entries.

AA ran the task fairly slowly (though 100% accurately). A quick typist could easily beat it for speed.

If I did loose my internet connection I would have to amend the input file to delete entries already input.

I was disappointed that I was promised 5 hrs of free consultation by AA but when I sent in my spec I heard nothing ao I have had to complete the task myself.
