o - yes - I do know that windows are changing on the desktop that I run the macros and thats what is causing the error. What I'm trying to figure is what is the best way to record a macro because changing window sizes and file placements, moving object, well that happens on a computer every day so what was once a desktop today may be a diffrent desktop tomorrow. So what is the best way to record a macro to avoid such changes that happen day to day from common computer useage? moving and resizing windows is something all users do once that happens then the macro is no good any more.
