Can all the tasks be scheduled with the help of auto login feature? archana,
Yes you can have automation anywhere unlock the PC before running the task and then re-lock when the task is completed. This became available in 3.5. You should be able to update at no cost.
From the main menu select tools then options. Fill in the auto login settings (user name /password / )
from the help menu in automation anywhere.
"Auto Login Settings
Use this setting to unlock your computer when the task runs.
If you use Auto Login, when any task runs, Automation Anywhere will check if the computer is locked or not. If it is then it will unlock the computer using the username and password you have provided and start executing your task.
Once the task completes successfully, it will lock the computer again.
It will also lock the computer if any of the following occurs during the execution of the task
Anyone hits an Escape key
Anyone hits a pause key
Any error occurs during the execution of the task"
Sounds like the other 24 task that fail when the computer locked may have additional steps besides running an application. If there is a keystroke in a window or any action that using the desktop interactivity it will fail. Check the log file to see where the task is failing (line #) |
