2. Installation / Uninstallation of Workspace Macro
Workspace Macro 4.6 works on Windows Vista / 2003 / XP / 2000 / NT operating system. Sorry we do not support Windows ME and Windows 98.

Yes, you can but all the “.wksp” files that you create will be associated with the last installation.

Click on Start->Programs->Workspace Macro 4.6->Uninstall Workspace Macro
4.6. Follow the uninstall wizard. When Workspace Macro is uninstalled, uninstaller does not delete your recorded macro files. If you do
not plan to use Workspace Macro in the future and want to remove all your recorded macros, remove the Workspace Macro directory from My Documents.

3. Product Purchase and Registration:
Your trial period is over when you have run your saved macros, 30 times.

No. If you have already installed the trial version you did not download it again. When you enter your registration code in trial version software,
it automatically unlocks the features and becomes fully functional purchased version. So just enter the registration code sent to you via email and the
trial version will convert into purchased version.

you have already installed the trial version, you will not need to re-install the application onto your
computer. We will send you a registration key & username to the email address that you provide during the purchase. Use these to run and utilize the

License keys are automatically checked before sending it to you.
Most likely reason your license key doesn't work is,
a. You have purchased "Workspace Macro" and you have downloaded "Workspace Macro
Professional (Pro)". You are trying "Workspace Macro" license key on "Workspace Macro Pro". You can download Workspace Macro from
Workspace Macro Product page.
b. You have purchased a Combination
package. In this case you should have received 2 license keys, one for each product. Please use the correct license key for the software.

Start the Workspace Macro recorder. Choose the “Enter Key” button and follow instructions to enter your registration key and username.

The trial version does not give you the
option to password protect the macros you recorded. This enhanced feature is only available in the purchased version. Other features available only
in the purchased version are: unlimited use of the software and access to product support.

4. Using Workspace Macro Recorder:
It is very easy. Click 'NEW'; perform the
activities on your computer that you want to record, click 'STOP' and then 'SAVE' the recorded activities to a file. You can play back your recorded actions
by using the 'RUN' button and selecting the file that you saved. For further details refer to the Help file.

No. Workspace Macro is a smart macro recorder
and does not require play conditions to be identical to recording conditions. However, if you performed activities in any of those prior open windows, then you
will need to have those windows open before you playback your file.

Recorded macros are saved in "My Documents" directory
under 'Workspace Macro\My Macros'. You can easily get to it by selecting a macro, right click and choose 'Locate on Disk'.

If computer is locked, Workspace Macro can not work, however our more advanced macro automation software,
Automation Anywhere can work.
Automation Anywhere has unique Auto Login feature with strong security protection that allows macros to run even
if computer is locked. When you enable Auto Login, and any macro runs, Automation Anywhere will unlock the computer if it is locked and start executing your task.
Once the task completes, it will lock the computer again. This eliminates the need to keep your computer unlocked for macro execution.

Yes. Press ‘Pause’ on your keyboard. This will temporarily stop the execution of the macro. Click on the ‘Resume’ button that will appear at the bottom
right hand corner of your screen to continue playing the macro from where it was paused.

By selecting ‘SMART Macro replay’, the macro will
replay at the speed it was recorded at. By selecting ‘SMART Macro High Speed replay’, the macro will replay at a high-speed. SMART Macro Technology
ensures that even by increasing the replay speed, accuracy and reliability are not compromised.
Note: In some rare cases, certain pauses during
recording have implicit application specific meanings. In these cases, set the replay speed to the recorded speed for accurate replay.

By default the macro will only run on the
specific file(s) it was recorded on. However you can check ‘Enable this macro to run with other similar files 'option under the Properties>
General tab. This will instruct macro to run even if window title doesn't match exactly.

Check if your scheduler is working fine by scheduling any other application for example: calculator.
Make sure you have scheduled the file as described in the help file.

Like your other documents and important data, you should consider taking backup of your macros. Backup "My Documents\Workspace
Macro" directory. Also keep backup of your email containing Workspace Macro license key.
If you re-format the hard disk or move to using a new
computer, just download our Windows Macro from our
website. Install the software. Specify your license key and copy 'Workspace Macro' directory back to My Documents.
