Workspace Macro Pro features advanced SMART Macro Technology with very sophisticated algorithms to ensure the high reliability of Workspace Macro Pro. However some instances require you to re-record your workspace macro file. Future upgrades will aim at eliminating these limitations.
Significant changes to the application or webpage that macro was recorded on: If an application/ web page has made significant changes (for e.g. because of an upgrade or a new look), then you may need to re-record your macros. Changing the font size of the browser (for e.g. clicking on ‘View’>Text Size>Larger, etc.), between recording and playing the workspace macro file, will change the position/ layout of everything on that page. This may require you to re-record your workspace macro file.
Taskbar right click is not recorded: Workspace Macro Pro cannot close a window if the user, while recording, closes the window by right clicking on the window icon in the taskbar and selecting ‘close’ from the menu.
Advacend IE-Plugin works only for IE:If using Internet Explorer, Workspace Macro Pro can automatically account for delays in loading a web page. Workspace Macro Pro will wait till the page is loaded and then perform subsequent actions. However, this may not work in all cases for other browsers.
'CLOSE' button doesn't perform application specific sign-out etc: The 'CLOSE' button currently closes all the windows as if you clicked on the ‘X’ icon on top-right top corner of every window opened by your workspace macro pro file. However you are required to take appropriate actions pertaining to specific applications that you use. For example, if you are Signed-in to your web based email account, you may want to sign-out before closing that window.
