Error Messages

Here are some of the error messages you might see in Launch-n-Go. The section below talks about possible causes and how to fix them.

1. Entered Keyword (<keyword>) does not exist. Please try again."
Cause and Solution: When user enters a Keyword that does not exist in the Launch-n-Go list, application shows this error. To check for available Keywords, right click on the Launch-n-Go toolbar textbox & Click Launch-n-Go List.

2. “Can not find File/URL <path of the file> associated with the keyword <name of the keyword entered>.

Tip: Specify File/URL (required) followed by parameters in quotes (optional). 
Example C:\Windows\Notepad.exe "C:\data\test.txt"

Cause and Solution: The File/URL associated with the Keyword does not exist or the file name / file path is incorrect. Please check path of File / URL associated with the Keyword.

3. "Hotkey assigned to another Keyword. Please enter another key."

Cause and Solution: The hotkey user wants to assign is already assigned to another key. Please enter another key.

4. "Keyword <keyword> already exists & associated with <path of file>. Do you want to overwrite?"

Cause and Solution: The Keyword entered by the user already exists. Please enter another keyword.
