Example 1: Copy Files that were created in last 180 days and size of at least 50 Kb and above from one folder to another.

  1. Select the Copy Files option.
  2. Specify the source files that you want to copy.
  3. Specify the destination folder where you want to copy.
  4. Click on Advance view at the bottom.
  5. Click on Size checkbox and select "At least" from the drop down and specify 50 KB.
  6. Click on Date checkbox and specify 180 days in the textbox for "in the last" option.
  7. Save and Run the task.

Example 2: Rename all the .dat files with .bak

  1. Select the Rename Files option.
  2. Specify the source (.dat) files that you want to rename for e.g. C:\MyFolder\*.dat
  3. Specify the new renamed file name for e.g. *.bak
  4. Save the command.

Example 3: Zip (backup) all your work at the end of the day before leaving the work.

  1. Select the Zip file option.
  2. Specify the location of your work folder for e.g. C:\MyWork\
  3. Specify the name of the zip file that you want to be generated after compressing the folder.
  4. Save the command.

Example 4: Delete/Purge all the *.tmp files at the end of the day.

  1. Select the Delete Files option.
  2. Specify the location of the temp files that you want to delete for e.g. C:\Temp\*.tmp
  3. Save the command.

Example 5: Print all the Word documents in C:\My Documents\ folder.

  1. Select the 'Print Files in a folder' option.
  2. Specify C:\My Documents\ in the Folder name.
  3. Specify the extension *.doc in the File Type textbox.
  4. Save the command.
