Window Actions - Examples
How to use?
Example 1: To close 'Untitled - Notepad'.
- Open the Task Editor from Tools -> Task Editor
- Double click on the 'Close Window' command.
- Make sure that 'Untitled - Notepad' is already open.
- Select the title 'Untitled - Notepad' from the list.
- Click on 'Save' button.
Example 2: To close All Open Windows.
- Open the Task Editor from Tools -> Task Editor
- Double click on the 'Close Window' command.
- Select the option 'Close All Open Windows' option from the drop down list.
- Click on 'Save' button.
Example 3: To resize a browser window
- Open the Task Editor from Tools -> Task Editor
- Double click on the 'Resize Window' command.
- Select the browser window title from the list e.g.
www.tethyssolutions.com-Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Click on capture and draw a rectangle of your desired size to retrive
co-ordinates of the window.
- Click on 'Save' button.
Example 4: To maximize 'Microsoft Excel-Book1'
- Open the Task Editor from Tools -> Task Editor
- Double click on the 'Maximize Window' command.
- Make sure that 'Microsoft Excel-Book1' is already open.
- Select the title 'Microsoft Excel-Book1' from the
list.
- Click on 'Save' button.
Example 5: To activate 'Document1-Microsoft Word'
- Open the Task Editor from Tools -> Task Editor
- Double click on the 'Activate Window' command.
- Make sure that 'Document1-Microsoft Word' is already open.
- Select the title 'Document1-Microsoft Word' from the
list.
- Click on 'Save' button.
